If The Cross-country centre is our heart, then the tracks are our blood vessels. Known for their high quality, they attract both national team skaters and exercisers from all over the world. So if you are looking for the best ski trails in Dalarna, then you have come to the right place.
Skiing at Orsa Grönklitt is a fantastic experience, whether you are looking for a nice family trip, training for upcoming races or just want to take a trip one-on-one.
Orsa Grönklitt has long been classified as an official Vasalopp center. The terrain varies with hilly elite trails, easy-to-ride road trails, mountain terrain, marshes and cozy forest trails. All trails are prepared according to all the rules of the nerd, which gives you perfect conditions, whether you are standing on a pair of skis for the first time or training for world competitions.
During high season you will find over thirteen miles of well-prepared ski trails that invite you to perfect training for the upcoming Vasaloppet. The vast majority of cross-country tracks start from the Cross-Country Centre and the ski stadium. From there there are also transit tracks to the East Tracks and the shorter rounds. In the vast majority of our trails there are also excellent opportunities for skating.
With us you will find cross-country tracks that suit everyone in the family, no matter what level you are at and what goal you have with your skiing. For the winter of 2022, we inaugurated Bärra's ski playground, a perfect place for children to start their careers in cross-country skiing.
If you have any questions about trails or other questions, our fantastic staff at The Cross Country Centre are available. You will find the cross-country center right next to the ski stadium.
Keep in mind that the ski trails are affected by weather and wind, so feel free to examine the conditions and trail status before you go on the ski trip.
12 kilometers of our tracks are illuminated from 06.00 to 21.00, in this way you can maximize the number of training hours or take a long sleepover and get out into the tracks when it suits you.
