• Start by drawing lots to which team to start.
• Then you select one of the players in the team that won the draw, which will start by drawing a "playing place", ie a ring around their feet (about 3 dm in diameter.) It is from here that all players will throw their orbs during the first round.
• The person who drew the circle should then throw out the "Little One", i.e. the little ball. The little one must be one meter at least away from the ring.

• When Lillen is ejected, the player should then throw his first ball and try to get as close to Lillen as possible.
• After that, it's time for the opposing team to throw their first ball as close to Lillen as possible.
• After the opposing team has thrown their first ball, it is not the usual order of precedence. Now it is instead the team that has its "best" orb farthest away from Lillen that will throw its next ball.
• If one team has thrown out all their orbs for the other team, the other team gets to throw out all their orbs that they have left.

When all the boule balls are thrown, you should count the points together. The team closest to Lillen gets 1 point. If the same team or player has more orbs that are closer than the opponents' orbs do, that team also gets 1 point for each orb that is closer.

The game then proceeds by a player from the team that won the round drawing up a new exit spot and then continuing the game in the same way. The team that gets up to 13 points wins.

Either you try to get as close to Lillen as possible at your throw, or you try to put away the other orb that is already there.
